Boy, Howdy – has it REALLY been two months since I last posted something here? Man, I am truly sorry for being such a slacker. A lot has happened (sort of) and a lot is going on (sort of), so I certainly need to update things.
But in the meantime, and to show you all that I still love you, please enjoy another movie. This one is a drama I like to call “Walmart”:
I’m ready for all of this to be over. It’s well beyond time for us to move on and get to work fixing all of the sit that is wrong with this country.
The one thing that bothered me the most (well, at least that stands out in my mind) about this last debate was McCain constantly harping about “special needs” kids and what a fucking uber-genius Palin is when it comes to them.
Well, no offense to “special needs” people, but we’ve sure got a fuck load of more important things to worry about right now. I mean, we can’t exactly afford to provide for them if we’re all living in cardboard boxes, pissing and taking dumps in a Mason jar, can we?
And c’mon, John – people at your rallies want to fucking kill Obama! Don’t gloss that shit over by saying something along the lines of “There’s always going to be a few bad eggs”. You and your right wing, fear-mongering cronies know exactly what you’re doing by allowing the country’s God fearing, narrow-minded idiots to call the man a terrorist and to call for his head.
As a kid I used to love – I mean LOVE – the “Create Your Own Adventure” books. As I got older I drifted away from the series and when I DID manage to check one out they weren’t as good. Not enough options and too many “Turn to Page XX” throughout the story.
Anyway, I forget where I first saw mention of this, here is something as cool as those old books. The GOOD old ones. “The Outbreak” puts you in the shoes of a guy caught up in a zombie outbreak. The acting is far from good and, overall, it’s a bit short – but it’s cool as hell. You should be able to run through the whole story – bad endings and all – in less than a half hour. But it’s a FUN half hour.
Go check it out, just be careful which decisions you make!
